Robust tone and room correction controls can be accessed with the Dirac app, while the BluOS Controller app contains basic controls, allowing a user to select one of the five filters saved to the unit, adjust subwoofer crossover settings, or simply disable Dirac. The M10 has the ability to store up to five room profiles, called “filters”, configured using the microphone included with the M10 and Dirac’s proprietary app, available for desktop, iOS, and Android devices. Users interested in room correction across the full frequency range can easily upgrade to Dirac Live Full. The integration of Dirac Live will allow users to calibrate their M10 to a room’s dimensions, shape, and architectural features, offering a near-perfect compensation of the room’s acoustic anomalies up to 500 Hz.
Users will be prompted to update their devices on or around April 16, 2019. Dirac Live will become enabled with the coming update to version 3.4 of BluOS, the hi-res music management and multi-room audio technology onboard the M10.
